Stratford v Newspoint
On 7 September 2022 Greville Healey, acting as a Commercial Rent (Coronavirus) Act 2022 arbitrator, made an award on a preliminary issue, regarding the amount of the protected rent debt. He decided on the facts that, contrary to the argument of the tenant, there had been no binding rent concession agreed by the landlord. The award is available here.
