Professor Martin Dixon, academic fellow of Falcon Chambers, has been awarded the rank of Honorary King’s Counsel

Chambers is delighted to announce that Professor Martin Dixon, academic fellow of Falcon Chambers, has been awarded the rank of Honorary King's Counsel. This honor is bestowed on those who have made a major contribution to the law of England and Wales, outside practice in the courts. 

Martin Dixon FAcSS, MA (Oxon), PhD (Cantab), is a Professor of the Law of Real Property at the University of Cambridge (where he is also Director of the Cambridge Centre for Property Law). He is Fellow of Queens’ College Cambridge and an Honorary Bencher of Lincoln’s Inn. He is a member of the Chancery Bar Association, the Property Bar Association and the Property Litigation Association.

He has written and edited many of the leading textbooks in this area of law.

He will be formally awarded the honor at a ceremony at Westminster Hall in March 2025. Many congratulations from everyone at Falcon Chambers.
