President of the Supreme Court: Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury
Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury, currently Master of the Rolls, and an ex-member of Falcon Chambers has been named as the next President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom. His appointment as President of the Supreme Court was made by Her Majesty The Queen on the advice of the Prime Minister and Lord Chancellor, following the recommendation of an independent selection commission chaired by Lord Phillips. Lord Neuberger succeeded Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers as the most senior judge in the United Kingdom on 30 September 2012.
