Lord Gill appointed to new role
Chambers is delighted to announce that Lord Gill, former Lord President and Lord Justice General of Scotland has been appointed to the Investigatory Powers Commissioner’s Office as a Judicial Commissioner. The Judicial Commissioners role is to supervise Ministers and local authorities in the use of investigatory powers including surveillance and data acquisition and retention.
Lord Gill was also recently awarded the highly prestigious international book prize of CEDR (Committee of European Agricultural Law Associations) for his 4th edition of Gill on Agricultural Tenancies.
