Davies v Davies [2014] EWCA Civ 568
Timothy Fancourt QC and Elizabeth Fitzgerald appeared in the above appeal in relation a proprietary estoppel claim in the context of a family farming dispute. It is the latest case on the question of the operation of proprietary estoppel in an agricultural context, and it gives guidance on the questions of reliance and detriment.
